End of June we took part in the Tallberg Forum in Sweden: an inspiring gathering of unique people like James Hansen (NASA), Ged Davis (fmr. Man. Dir. WEF) and Kofi Annan (fmr. Sec. Gen. United Nations), all highly committed to sustainability and climate change.
Part of our contribution was in one of the nine Redesigning workshops “Zero Carbon Energy”, led by Ged Davis and Peter Warshall. The goal was to collectively, with experts from around the world, design a prototype for such an energy paradigm.
After we collectively spent over a hundred man hours, the eventual prototype focused on three main solutions:
- Distributed energy for zero-c communities
- Zero-C power for security in Europe, Africa, and beyond
- Global Coal disarmament
Our involvement was (of course) with the Distributed energy work, developing a implementation framework. We invite you to have a look at the final presentation slides and learn more about the Tallberg Forum.
Besides the Redesigning workshop, Igor Kluin was also invited to participate in the New Leader Program, preceding the forum, together with 30 people from around the globe. The full week in Sweden was uniquely inspiring and educational. We greatly appreciate and admire the work of Bo Ekman and his team within the Tallberg foundation!
