The preliminary jury for the PICNIC Green Challenge, has nominated Igor Kluin with Qurrent as one of 5 finalists. The nominees were selected from 439 entrants from 50 countries who sent in detailed plans for inventions that could help to combat climate change.

Jury chairman Sir Richard Branson of The Virgin Group will announce the winner and award the 500.000 euro prize, made available by the Dutch Postcode Lottery, at noon on Saturday 29 September during PICNIC 2007.
